HOW DO I GET TO THE VENUE?

Answer

Chalet View Lodge is in a remote area, so there are no public transportation or ride-sharing options like Uber or Lyft available. For those flying in from out of town, we recommend coordinating carpool or arranging a car rental in advance.

WHAT IS OCTOBER WEATHER LIKE THERE?

Answer

Typically in early October, expect to still see warm sunny days 60s-80s°F and chilly nights with temperatures dropping to 40s°F.

WILL YOUR WEDDING BE INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Answer

Both the welcome party and wedding ceremony will be held outdoors, so be sure to dress accordingly for the weather. Luckily all guests will be staying onsite, so you can grab an extra layer any time from your room if necessary. Our reception will be held in an all-weather tent, so we’ll be comfortable no matter what.

Parking is available on-site for all guests. There’s plenty of space for everyone, so feel free to park at the venue when you arrive!

WHEN SHOULD I RSVP BY?

Answer

We’d really appreciate it if you could let us know if you’re more than likely not able to attend by June 30th. We completely understand if you’re unable to join us—your presence will be missed! To clarify, you will still receive the formal invitation with the opportunity to officially accept or decline when you RSVP on this website. This will help us get a better idea of the guest count as we continue to plan.

WILL THERE BE A REHEARSAL DINNER?

As we celebrate this joyous occasion, we wanted to extend the festivities over multiple days, allowing us to spend quality time with our favorite people. We’re excited to invite all of our guests to a welcome party the night before the wedding in place of a rehearsal dinner. Please join us on Friday October 2nd for an evening of fun and anticipation as we kick off the celebration together.
