Sound View Beach
America's first public beach, established in 1892! Great place to grab a bite and lounge in the sun if you can't get that coveted invite to the Old Lyme Beach Club.
Essex Main Street
Maddy's favorite spot in CT! Grab a drink at the Griswold Inn, take a walk along the Connecticut River, grab a truffle shot at Chocolate Geeks! The most quaint street with great views and window shopping. They like to do it up for Halloween (although decorations may not be up by our weekend!)
Submarine Force Library & Museum
Home of the USS Nautilus and other historic artifacts dating back from the Civil War to modern times.
Mystic, CT
Plenty to do in Mystic, which is a short drive from Old Lyme! Visit the Mystic Aquarium, take a boat tour, explore the shopping and dining downtown, or hop over to B.F. Clyde's Cider Mill, the oldest steam-powered cider mill in the US, for a yummy drink and apple cider donut!
