Semi-formal / dressy casual attire recommended. We will primarily be in grass so choose your footwear wisely! We also recommend bringing a sweater or coat - it can get chilly at night!
Yes! The venue is a large grassy yard with plenty of space to run and play, just keep a close eye on the little ones as we aren't far from the water!
We recommend flying into either Hartford, CT or Providence, RI. Hartford is the closest (approx. 45 minute drive to the venue) but you will need a car to get to Old Lyme. Providence is convenient, as you can take the train down to Old Saybrook (location of our hotel block & a 5-10 minute drive from the venue). Other airports like Newark or LaGuardia are also options but we are less familiar with the train systems.
We recommend renting a car, as this is a small town with limited Uber/Lyft options. We will have a couple shuttles running from the Quality Inn and Old Lyme Inn between 3-4pm to take guests to the event, and they will return again between 9-11pm.
Dinner and appetizers will be provided by a local pizza truck! There will be a wide variety of options, including gluten-free, dairy-free, veggie, vegan, etc. All dietary restrictions will be accommodated!
We kindly ask that any physical gifts be shipped to our home address, as this is a destination wedding for us. Cards are more than welcome!
