A mix of inside and outside! The ceremony will be held outside the Governor Thomas Bennet House in the crescent garden. The cocktail hour will be inside the main house or outside for those who want to explore the beautiful property, and the reception will be outside under a tent in the Oystery Tabby. Please dress accordingly and make sure to check weather conditions leading up to the event.
The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 pm, so we would advise you to arrive to the grounds between 3:30 pm and 3:45 pm to ensure enough time to get seated prior to the processional.
Although we would love to have your children, we've decided to keep it as an adults-only event so that we can enjoy the night with our closest friends and family!
We are only able to accommodate guests who are named on your save the dates and invitations.
Complimentary parking will be available to our guests at the wedding venue! You are able to leave your car overnight, but we strongly recommend picking your vehicle up by 10:00 am Sunday morning.
Please note that there will be no transportation provided to the wedding. We kindly ask that you plan accordingly for your travel arrangements. We recommend walking or taking a short 5-minute Uber ride from the center of town. Driving to the venue is another option, with the complimentary parking mentioned above. After the reception, trolleys will be available to bring guests back to a few of the recommended hotels at 10:00 pm. Rideshare apps will also be an option for those who want to continue celebrating at the after-party location!
