Question

What does 'cocktail attire' actually mean?

Answer

Cocktail attire means leave behind the tuxes and black ties but don't show up in shorts and a t-shirt. We would love to encourage ladies to knee-length, mid-length, or long dress. Or classy jumpsuit. For the gentlemen, please arrive in pants (Greg Englert especially) and a button-down shirt. Ties, sport coats, and suits are not required but encouraged as long as you are comfortable!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, we will have shuttles before and after the wedding going to and from our recommended hotel in Mooresville, NC. More details to follow closer to date!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, the venue provides a large lot right in front if you are planning to drive yourself.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes we are! Please checkout our "Registry" page for more details on this.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The ceremony is outside and the reception is inside - plan for warm weather. If it rains on the day, the ceremony will be moved inside.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony which starts at 5 o'clock, and plan on running into some traffic on the way so give yourself plenty of time before if possible!

Question

How did the couple meet?

Answer

Legend has it that the couple had been in the same rooms many times before actually meeting but in 2017, they finally crossed paths. Well, Maddie crossed Ross’s. Maddie was zoned in on her career the days Ross joined the same company that she was working for. Ross quickly became a distraction and forced Maddie to make a new friend. For months, his daily goal seemed to be to capture Maddie’s attention. It took a lot of patience but thankfully time won that battle! It wasn’t until 2018 when Maddie finally gave in and let Ross call her his friend. For Valentine’s Day that year, she let him take her out on a date. They started introducing each other to their friends, they took off on weekends to enjoy vacations, and they even passed the ol family and parents tests on first attempts. Finally, the day came when Ross jumped on the opportunity to get Maddie to call him her boyfriend and from that day forward, it was the beginning of their wild adventure together.
