Such a great area to walk around and enjoy the scenery of the lake - also Petoskey is known for having the BEST sunsets, so we recommend going around sunset :)
When we visited, we went to Gabriel Farms & Winery/Four Labs Beer & Cider. There are so many more to explore-search Petoskey wine region & you can find a whole day of wine tasting with gorgeous scenery!
Let us know if you find one, people come here from all over to find these beautiful stones.
Charlevoix is known for the "mushroom houses" they look like a real life fairytale.
Petoskey was rated the cutest small town in America and you will quickly see why! Shop around and enjoy the cute coffee shops (I recommend Roast & Toast). Also, there are plenty of restaurants to choose from! I would recommend Chandler's or Back Lot Beer Garden for a fun vibe with lots of food trucks and beer! Also, go to Petoskey pretzel company if you are a major soft pretzel fan like me, we are tying the knot afterall.
Summertime Rentals has great options if you want to get out on the lake!
Sleeping Bear Dunes has a special place in mine & Jordan's hearts. It is the prettiest place we have ever been & we talk about it almost every other day. You get the best view of Lake Michigan if you want to take a drive & go on a hike! (We visited Empire Bluff Trail)
Local farmers markets happening around town.
Rent bikes & go on a bike ride at Little Traverse Wheelway!
Ride the free Petoskey trolley - it is the cutest way to explore the town!
