FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than August 20th.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5:30 PM. The venue will be open 15 minutes prior to the ceremony, so please plan to arrive by 5:15 PM.

Question

Do I Need to Wear a Mask?

Answer

Yes. We ask that you please wear your mask around others both inside and outside, especially when social distancing cannot be maintained. We also ask that you wear your mask inside the stable while dancing and mingling, but encourage social distancing during dinner and any food or beverage consumption, in the understanding you have your mask off in those situations.

Question

*COVID-19* - The Venue

Answer

In light of the ongoing pandemic, the entire team at Bluemont Vineyard is taking enormous precautions to ensure the health and safety of all guests and staff alike. Throughout the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception, staff will be wearing masks and gloves and there will be hand sanitizer available throughout the venue.

Question

*COVID-19* - Reception & Dinner

Answer

We understand there may be concerns about dining inside the stable during the reception. After if you feel uncomfortable with dining inside, the staff is more than happy to make a to-go dinner package for you to enjoy wherever you feel most comfortable.

Question

*COVID-19* - Reception & Dancing

Answer

With an extended cocktail hour and use of the outdoor space of the venue, we encourage guests to enjoy as much of the reception outside as possible. There will be lawn games provided as well as tents and seating for additional gathering space. Due to local noise ordinances, music & dancing will be inside after 7pm. Weather permitting, we are able to have doors to the stable open for guests to enjoy the celebration inside and outside.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please refer to your invitation. The venue has a capacity limit that we have hit with our guest list. Those listed on the invitation are invited.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Although we love your little ones, this is an adults only event.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

There are a number of hotels, bed & breakfasts, and AirBnBs in the local area. Please refer to the "Travel" section for more information.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking is available at the venue. If you would like to use a shuttle from the hotel, please let us know and we will make arrangements.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Transportation can be provided if needed. Please let us know if you would like to use a shuttle. Due to COVID-19 we will not be provided a large shuttle bus to allow for social distancing and to follow CDC guidelines. There is plenty of parking at the reception.
