We highly recommend looking into rentals near the wedding venue and in Rehoboth Beach. The Peninsula, specifically, is a nice community close to the venue with many available rentals.
Flight
This is the closest large airport to the wedding venue. Please be advised that flying into this airport will still require an approx. 2.5 hour drive to the wedding venue and across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Consider bridge traffic in your travel plans. Other nearby airports include Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and Dulles International Airport.
Flight
This is the closest small airport to the wedding venue. Approx. 50 minute drive. Please be advised that this airport has limited flight selection to mainly large / local cities in the surrounding area.
Travel Note
Please be aware of potential travel delays due to beach-related traffic crossing the bridge. Traffic is often heavy on Friday afternoons and evenings heading east toward Delaware, and on Sunday afternoons and evenings heading west toward the airports. - Visit Cape Henlopen State Park. Relax on the beach, take a hike or enjoy biking the scenic trails. Entrance fee likely required. - Take the Cape May-Lewes Ferry for a day trip to Cape May, NJ. - Explore Downtown Rehoboth Beach or Dewey Beach. Both have beach access and plenty of bars / restaurants. Get some Thrasher's French Fries. The Tanger Outlets are also located in Rehoboth Beach. - Tour DogFish Head Brewery. Enjoy a taste of some local beers and a bite to eat in Milton, DE. - Junction and Breakwater Trail This is a six-mile trail from Rehoboth Beach to Lewes for hiking or biking.
