A fun, retro arcade and bar! Go for the drinks, games, or even the yummy pizza! (our fav is the mac and cheese slice)
Old Westport
Westport is a super fun bar area! There are several bars (and even some restaurants) to choose from. Our favorite bars here are Kelly's, AleHouse, and Yard Bar! Most bars have a $5 cover fee on weekends.
Power and Light District
A bar/restaurant area within walking distance of the venue. Or, take the streetcar to get there even faster! A must see area of Kansas City full of bars and restaurants. During the day, go with the whole family to enjoy a meal. At night, go to enjoy the fun bars. One of the nicest bar areas in the city!
Country Club Plaza
Great area to go with family. Lots of great restaurants and shopping. The lights will go up on Thanksgiving, so check it out at night!
Union Station
The place where we got engaged! A KC must see!
National WWI Museum and Memorial
Great museum, with an even better view of the city! One of our favorite places to walk around and see the skyline.
Manny's Mexican Restaurant
Our most visited restaurant. Try the monterey cheese dip!
Parlor
A food hall and bar (family friendly). Maddie's favorite!
Mission Taco Joint - East Crossroads
Our favorite fast and casual mexican! Gabe likes The Brah-rito and Maddie likes the South Beach Burrito. We also love the street corn!
Mildred's Coffeehouse
Our recommendation for a quick breakfast on your way out of town! Great breakfast sandwiches
