Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Invites have been sent! Please RSVP by March 9th via website or by call/text.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have decided to not have a gift registry. We know traveling for this wedding is a significant request, so we want you to know that coming to our wedding is gift enough! We so look forward to seeing you and having some quality time together! All of that said, if you still would like to gift us something, feel free to contribute to our Newlywed fund to help us fill our future home or help with our honeymoon to Spain/Greece!

Question

If you do the hotel booking, when and how do we pay?

Answer

You will pay your hotel bill upon check-out! If you have questions about your total anticipated bill before then, you can always contact Kari Sante at Timber Cove: kari.sante@timbercoveresort.com.

Question

Contact info for your wedding planner?

Answer

Our planner is wonderful and very responsive. Her name is Lorie Lau and she lives in LA. Email is probably best: lorie@lvlevents.com. If for any reason you don't hear back, check your junk mail, sometimes her first emails to folks end up there. You may also call her at 949-946-9030.

Question

Can we share rooms with multiple friends and/or family?

Answer

Timber Cove primarily offers rooms that function best for just 2 people, though there are a couple of rooms with double beds and a handful with pullout sofas.

Question

How do I go about booking my stay at Timber Cove Resort? What if I want to stay longer?

Answer

For this retreat-style experience, you will have exclusive use of the Timber Cove Resort from noon on Sunday, May 18 to noon on Tuesday, May 20. Timber Cove requires room arrangements and bookings to go through Cyle and I. This means, you don't need to call the resort to book. We will place each individual/couple in a room that we hope will best suit your needs! You'll have a chance to let us know if you have preferences when you RSVP for the events. For your consideration, the majority of resort rooms are single King beds. We will try our best to accommodate your preferences. Price points range in cost (with our discount) from $300's for forest view rooms, to $400's for ocean/cove view rooms, to mid or high $500's for full ocean view suites (plus tax). Room pictures and details can be found on Timber Cove's website: timbercoveresort.com/rooms-and-suites. You will get charged for your stay upon check-out. Room preferences and extended stays will be prioritized based on remaining availability at the time of your RSVP. If you have a desire to extend your stay before or after our wedding, please contact our wedding planner Lorie Lau, lorie@lvlevents.com, 949-946-9030, & she will help you with setting that up!

Question

Can I stay at another hotel?

Answer

Of course you are welcome to do as you please, but for your own convenience and enjoyment, we do hope you can stay with us at Timber Cove! That's where all the fun will be! We did a "buy-out" of the Timber Cove Resort, which means all 44 rooms will be held specifically for our guests and our guests alone for Sunday to Tuesday.

Question

Is there parking?

Answer

There is parking for 1 vehicle included with your stay at Timber Cove, and all events will be on property.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

See the Schedule (separate page above) for details on dress code for each event.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your littles, we’ve decided to keep our wedding an adults-only celebration. We want you to be able to relax, let loose, and enjoy a fun, stress-free “weekend” away with us!

Question

How do I pack for a coastal California trip in May?

Answer

Layers! Mornings and evenings will be chilly, and there will very likely be fog until mid day / early afternoon. Expect temperatures from 50s to 70s and the coast is often breezy. We are of course hoping for a warm, sunny May wedding day, but we shall see! Ladies, this means you might want layer options with your dress, and the ceremony will be on grass (weather permitting), so wear stilettos at your own risk! Other things you might want to consider bringing: a water resistant layer and comfortable walking/hiking shoes. There are hiking paths on the property and so many hikes, beaches, and cliffs to explore nearby!

Question

Will there be a shuttle from the airport?

Answer

Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer shuttles from the SFO airport to Jenner, CA. This is large part because people are traveling at different times, flights to different airports, arriving different days, and/or extending their trip on either end. Rental cars will likely be the easiest option and parking is included in your stay at Timber Cove. If you would like more details on other means of transportation, you can find this on the Hotel & Travel page.
