Our story begins with a swipe on April 15th 2021. In our first conversation ever we discovered both our love of music (specifically Smooth by Santana ft Rob Thomas.) Although things seemed to be going well, Maddie got ghosted. She waited two weeks before double texting Ethan and a whole month before pressuring him to take her on a date. The first date went so well Maddie was accidentally an hour late for work because she lost track of time. The second date did not go as well. On this date,  Ethan backed into Maddie’s car. The third date was even more chaotic, Ethan (supposedly unknowingly) invited Maddie over to his house while they were throwing a Memorial Day party with his mom’s entire extended family. Despite these chaotic experiences somehow our relationship has become the most stable and secure thing in our lives. We have learned from each-other how to embrace the chaos and find joy in the unknown. The moral of this story is that Ethan should listen to Maddie more often because without her perseverance (pushiness) this relationship would’ve ended with him ghosting her back in 2021.
