Bill and Maddie's story begins where all great modern love stories start…on the dating app, Tinder. Bill “super-liked” Maddie (chivalry isn't dead after all), and Maddie swiped right the moment she saw he was also from Tennessee. Their banter was effortless, even over text, so they scheduled their first date for September 11th. On September 10th, Bill reached out with a confession: he had been summoned to serve as the designated beer-slinger for his company softball team. And Maddie, being a reasonable human, couldn’t ask him to forsake this duty. So, the date moved to September 12th, 2018. They ended up at Café Ba-Ba-Reeba on Halsted and Armitage, where they fell in love over food, funny conversation, and a pitcher of sangria. They never looked back. They’ve been together ever since, happily rooted in Chicago with their matching black-and-white cat and dog, Hank and Mojo.
