Question

What are the Covid safety protocols?

Answer

We want to come together and celebrate safely, so we ask that you take one of the possible steps below in order to ensure this for our wedding: 1. If you are eligible and able to, we ask that you please receive the vaccine. Maddie has been able to make appointments for several family members and she would be more than happy to help if you'd like. 2. If you are not yet eligible to receive the vaccine by the time of the wedding, we ask that you quarantine and take a Covid test at least three days before the wedding. We understand that these are tremendous efforts to take in such unusual times, but this celebration will be well worth the wait if we can all take these precautions. We also ask that you please bring a mask with you to our ceremony and reception, just as an extra precaution.

Did the hotel change? Do I have to cancel my old reservation?

Answer

Unfortunately the Holiday Inn Express Newton-Sparta did not have any availability for our new date next June, so we have now set up a new block at the TownPlace Suites by Marriott in Dover Rockaway. We were also able to cancel the old reservations with no penalty.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes! We are registered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Amazon, and through Zola. We have everything linked in the Registry tab on our website here.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We will be providing shuttles for all guests staying at our hotel. The shuttles will be departing beginning at approximately 3:50 pm. A more detailed itinerary will be emailed to all guests before the wedding.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! And if the block at the TownPlace Suites Dover Rockaway is full, there are also several other local options available on our Hotel page.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget, and therefore our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your kids, this event is for adults only!

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will be hosting a welcome picnic the evening before our wedding; everyone is welcome. If you are staying at the TownPlace Suites, please also join us for breakfast the morning after the wedding, Saturday June 19th.

Can we take pictures during your ceremony?

Answer

That's what our photographers are for! We are asking for all guests to please put their phones away during the ceremony, including when people are walking down the aisle. We are touched that you want to document our special day, but please save it for the dance floor and be in this moment with us.
