Twin Lakes
About a 20 minute drive from Leadville is a tiny, little town called Twin Lakes. Grab a coffee at the Roadhouse Lodge and drive or walk down to the lakes. The views are incredible! A great place to spend the morning outside. If you are up for hiking, The Interlaken Trail and Mount Elbert Forebay are our favorite easy trails nearby!
Turquoise Lake
This lake is super close to Leadville and is a great place to hang out, take a walk along perimeter trail, or to just enjoy the views!
shopping on Harrison Ave
Bop around Harrison Ave and check out some of the cool, unique shops! Some of our favorites are: Elevation Goods, The Western Hardware, Leadville Yarn & Fiber Co and Melanzana.

our other favorite coffee shop in town! It is in an old house and has a cute/unique gift shop in the back you can check out
High Mountain Pies
very good pizza spot that has a large patio for outdoor seating! FYI-- they don't take reservations and can get busy during peak hours

This is a more upscale spot located in The Delaware Hotel--great place to grab a brunch, dinner, or even a cocktail!
