The technical term for our attire or dress code is: Formal. What we mean: dress to impress! We envision men in suits and ties! Women can come in long or midi dresses or jumpsuits. There is no specific color palette for our guests to follow. We want you to balance comfort (so you can dance all night) and feeling elevated, classy, and camera-ready! We know it will be hot outside, but our venue is fully indoors with A/C available for the entirety of the event. We will have cocktail hour flowing indoor/outdoor in the gardens, as well as an open balcony with sweeping views.
The ceremony time is listed at 4:00pm. Please arrive before 3:45pm to make your way upstairs and find a seat so we can start right on time! The ceremony will take place on the top floor of the venue - accessible by elevator or stairs. We will have ushers to help you find the right spot!
For our guests who live much closer to sea level, please be aware that you might feel some effects up here! We find that the effects of alcohol are much stronger and faster acting up here! You may also feel short of breath more quickly, and incredibly thirsty. Pack your Chapstick, sunscreen, and moisturizer for our dry sunny climate! If you are considering a hike during your stay, be aware of altitude sickness on any hikes over 1,000 feet of elevation gain!
We kindly request that all RSVP's are entered on our website before June 15. However, if you know before then that you CANNOT make it, please let us know ASAP so we can plan accordingly!
We will be officially ending the reception at 10:00pm per venue requirements. We are not planning an after-party, but know our guests are a hoot - connect with others to keep the party going if you'd like! Remember that bars in Utah close at 1:00am. Be sure to call Ubers and Lyfts if you choose to drink!
We are so honored that you find us so photogenic! However, we ask that photos are not taken during the ceremony - we invited YOU because we want you as a witness - not all your FaceBook friends! We have amazing photographers we hired to capture the event from our best angles, and don't want your phone in the background of those professional images! If you take photos during the reception please feel free to share and make sure to use the QR codes (provided at the reception) to upload them so we can see too!
Yes! The venue has enough spaces for 1/2 our guests to park a car - so please carpool or consider an Uber or Lyft if you plan to drink!
Babies and toddlers will not be invited to the ceremony or reception. When we send out invitations, we will list the exact names of each person who is invited. If you have a kid and their name is NOT on the invitation - we love them - but we are not inviting them to this event. We are looking forward to a fun party and want you to be able to feel present and let loose! If you have questions/concerns about childcare for the duration of the event - text us (319) 321-0286.
We are not extending open plus one invitations. You and your date/family will each have your names listed on the invitation and RSVP section.
All food and beverage will be complimentary at our wedding! We will have a selection of hors d'oveures during cocktail hour, then a buffet-style dinner. The bar will feature of variety of wine, beer, seltzer, and signature cocktails.
Nope, we will be heading out on our Honeymoon the day after the wedding and are not hosting any events on Sunday.
