Borthwick Castle is located 40 minutes from Edinburgh city-center. A shuttle will be provided from Charlotte Square in new town. Please review the details below if you plan on utilizing the shuttle to and from the castle. ****Please arrive to pick up location at least 10-15 minutes prior to the shuttle departing! Pick up location: Outside West Register House in Charlotte square Address of shuttle pick up: 17 Charlotte Square, Edinburgh EH2 4DF, United Kingdom Shuttle schedule: 2:15 pm: Shuttle departs for Borthwick castle 10:00 pm: First shuttle back to Charlotte square 12:00 am: Last shuttle back to Charlotte square If your group does not want to take the shuttle and prefers a car, any Uber or taxi service will take you out there. Getting back to the city, it will be most convenient to take our provided shuttle, but a taxi can be arranged with 20-30 minutes' prior notice to the venue.
3:00-3:30 pm is a perfect window to arrive. Time enough to get inside, grab a glass of bubbles and be seated before all the magic begins at 3:45!

All events planned for inside. If we get lucky with a gorgeous spring day we may greet our guests outside before heading in for the ceremony, though.
