What if I already know that I'm unable to make the wedding?

We will miss you, but completely understand! Please feel free to reach out to us at your earliest convenience and we will RSVP manually.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Let us know if you’ll be celebrating with us by March 14, 2026! We’re only able to host the lovely folks listed on your invitation (think: “The X Family”), and any included guests will show up under your name when you RSVP.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we’re keeping the celebration adults-only (unless otherwise specified on your invitations). Thank you for understanding—and we can’t wait to toast with you!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Our dress code is evening formal. Think romantic, whimsical, and timelessly classic: the kind of fit that brings ethereal, floaty energy and still ready to tear up the dancefloor.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Your presence is truly the greatest gift. But if you feel inclined, we’re so grateful for your generosity. We’ve registered at Amazon and Etsy, and you’ll also find a few favorite picks via Zola, all linked in the menu above.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Absolutely, we are working with our catering partners to accommodate common dietary restrictions. There will be a space in your RSVP where you can outline any food allergies.

Will the ceremony and reception be at the same location?

Answer

You bet! We’ll say “I do” upstairs on the second floor, then head down to the Distillery Room for cocktails. While you mingle, the amazing team at the Whiskey Factory will be transforming the ceremony space upstairs into a dreamy setting for dinner and dancing.

What time do I need to arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5pm SHARP. Please arrive to The Whisky Factory no later than 4:45pm. If you do arrive late, don't sweat it! You'll be asked to wait downstairs, where you can hang with the bartenders ahead of cocktail hour.

Is there parking for the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! There is a gated parking lot at The Whiskey Factory with hired security. Instructions will be provided once we get closer to our celebration.

Can we take pictures or video during the ceremony?

Answer

Put. Down. Your. Phone. We want you to soak up this moment with us, versus experiencing it through a device. We are spending a lot of money on an extremely talented photographer team to capture our moment. We do not want your blurry iPhone photos/videos.

Should I bring my ID/License?

Answer

Anyone who looks under 25 will be carded. So if you’re blessed with a baby face, don’t forget your ID! We want to make sure you can enjoy the cocktails made right here in Detroit with locally-sourced ingredients.

Is Sophie making an appearance?

Answer

Our sweet girl will be living her best life at a doggie hotel & spa while we celebrate. She sends her love (and plenty of hugs + kisses) from afar!
