We met while going to Antioch Church, where friends and family had secretly been planning to set us up for a while. We both had our reservations going into this meeting but once we met we both found interest. During our first meeting, Macy actually “kidnapped” Zachariah and took him to her house (near the church) for “questioning” over some matcha, which Zachariah refused to drink calling it “dirt water”. We spent a long time talking about expectations and what we were looking for and both decided that we would be friends first. Throughout this friendship God healed us and showed us what genuine love and respect was between two people. As our friendship grew our love for eachother grew even faster. After overcoming many obstacles in a few short months, it was apparent that we weren’t messing around and made things more serious. From long distance to broken pasts, God slowly helped lay the foundations of our relationship through long long talks, some crying, a boat load of laughter, lots of prayer and some pretty remarkable moments of selflessness towards each other in our low points. Now, we can’t wait to share our love for each other with you all on our special day!
