This is our reception venue, but there is an amazing art museum next to our event space, and all guests have free access to the museum on our wedding date from 5p to 8p.
Baltimore is home to an amazing aquarium! Admission is slightly pricey, but it is truly a wonderful experience!
Springtime is a great time catch a game at Camden Yards! And for the Detroiters visiting, it just so happens that the Tigers are in town the weekend of the wedding!
Take some time to walk along the water and enjoy the restaurants and shops in this area!
A delicious bakery near the water, known for their spicy fennel bagels. Great grab-and-go breakfast spot if you're so inclined.
Hopefully you won't have to spend any time here, but we'd be remiss not to add the place where we've spent so much of our time - and where we grew close to each other. If you choose to stop by, make sure to go to the Billings building, which was the original hospital, and see the famous Jesus statue.
Lovely water front area with restaurants and shops. Macy and Jack have spent many miles and hours here. There's a lovely farmer's markets here on Saturday mornings.
Large park, convenient for those who might be staying in an AirBNB in southeast Baltimore. Enjoy the green space, pond, and the famous pagoda!
A local brewery in a renovated church in our neighborhood. This is our go-to spot for a quick drink with friends. If you like sour beers, their fruited gose are fantastic! Jack likes the Hazy or Imperial IPAs.
A yummy coffee shop/Korean fast casual restaurant. This is where we first went out for a meal together, just the two of us, though it would be another six months before we started dating!
Hip cocktail bar in the Mount Vernon neighborhood. Macy took Jack here for his 24th birthday, hoping to send the message that she was into him! It didn't go through :)
Hipster, artsy coffee shop open very late. During first year, before we were dating, we'd meet up here to study before a test.
Free art museum near our ceremony venue. Collections span across the centuries and around the world. Pop in for 30 minutes or 3 hours.
Apparently the first Washington Monument located in the historic Mount Vernon neighborhood near Johns Hopkins's affiliated music school. If you're feeling tough, you can climb the stairs to the top.
The main branch of Baltimore's free library. Recently renovated, the building has gorgeous architecture (though I won't pretend to be able to accurately characterize said architecture).
See the historic battle site where our National Anthem was written. There is impressive green space and a lovely view of the Chesapeake Bay too!
In our humble opinion, the best ice cream in Charm City! There's a second location in Federal Hill near the reception venue.
Young and hopping neighborhood in southern Baltimore. Tons of restaurants and bars, and it's close to the venue for those looking to continue festivities after the reception.
Home to the Baltimore Zoo and the gorgeous Rawlings Conservatory, this park was along Macy and Jack's marathon training route. Many early morning, sweaty hours were spent on these trails.
See Edgar Allan Poe's grave in an old church cemetery. If you're a big Poe buff, there are also tours of his childhood home available.
The first cathedral constructed in America after the signing of the Constitution. Beautiful architecture and very well maintained.
