FAQs

If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to Macy or Jack. We want this to be a comfortable and lovely weekend for folks we hold dear!
Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We would appreciate if you RSVP by no later than March 15, 2023.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your guest's name is on your envelope or if your invitation includes an insert inviting you to bring a guest, then yes. If not, we would prefer if it was just you. Please reach out with any questions or concerns.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is metered street parking in the areas around both the church and the reception venue.

Question

Is Baltimore safe?

Answer

YES! Baltimore is a wonderful city with a lot to offer, and we want all of our guests to feel safe enjoying Baltimore throughout the weekend. That said, we recommend taking all of the common sense measures that you should in any major city (not walking around alone after dark, staying in groups, etc.). In particular, if you are bringing a car, be sure to not leave anything valuable inside.

Question

How will I get around Baltimore?

Answer

If you are driving to Baltimore, parking is available. In the downtown/Inner Harbor area, you will have to pay for it (usually about $2/hour). If you stay in a neighborhood like Fells Point, parking is usually free. If you are not driving to Baltimore or if you'd prefer not to drive to the ceremony or reception, Lyft or Uber are great options. The average ride will cost you between $8 and $15, depending on the distance. A trip to the airport is around $25-$35.

Question

What should I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

We expect the ceremony to end around 4p, and the cocktail hour starts at 6p. Family members and the wedding party should expect to spend the first several minutes taking pictures. Other guests, allow us to make some recommendations. First and foremost, remember the American Visionary Art Museum (our reception site) is open to you for free after 5p. Around the church, you could check out the free Walters Art Museum, grab some coffee at Dooby's or the Bun Shop, enjoy a cocktail at Sugarvale, or appreciate the architecture of the Washington Monument and Peabody School of Music. Closer to the reception venue, you could stroll along the Inner Harbor or appreciate Fed Hill Park. We certainly wouldn't blame you if you wanted to stop off at your hotel to rest up or switch shoes in preparation for a night full of dancing!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We have managed our registry through Zola, which allows us to register at lots of different stores. Our registry is linked through our wedding website. That said, we are most excited to have you join us as our guests to celebrate our marriage. You should not feel any pressure or obligation to give us any material gifts. We certainly will not be keeping track!
