Early September in Ireland is generally mild and pleasant, but weather can be changeable. Average daytime temperatures range from 55–65°F. You may experience sunshine, clouds, or light rain—all in the same day! We recommend bringing layers and a light jacket, especially for the evening.
The wedding is Black Tie Optional. Guests may choose to wear tuxedos or formal dark suits, and floor-length gowns or formal dresses. Since the ceremony is weather-dependent and may be outdoors, we suggest considering appropriate footwear and an extra layer.
Ireland uses the Euro (€). Credit and debit cards are widely accepted, including contactless payments. It’s still a good idea to carry a small amount of cash for taxis, pubs, or smaller purchases.
Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors at Luttrellstown Castle. The reception will take place indoors.
