We're getting married!

We met at Architecture school at Virginia Tech and were friends for many years. It wasn't until we graduated and worked at the same firm that our friendship grew into something greater. Many hangout nights later and a first Valentine's date at Mango Mike's (it was awesome!), we were inseparable and could not imagine our lives without one another.

We got off work early before the Thanksgiving holiday so Brian suggested we take a stroll on the Washington and Old Dominion trail near our new house. As I was trying to take his photograph, Brian looked over both shoulders and started fidgeting in his coat pocket. I yelled "Stop fidgeting!" as I tried to capture the moment through my camera. At my surprise, Brian bent down on one knee and popped the question. I was in complete shock and apparently kept repeating "Are you kidding me?!" We were able to spend the rest of the holiday sharing our exciting news with family and friends. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in April!
