Kunde (the venue) is requiring us to be able to provide proof of full vaccination or a negative PCR test prior to the event for all guests in attendance if requested. It is our expectation that all guests in attendance, with very rare medical exceptions, are fully vaccinated. If you are one of those exceptions, we would appreciate you taking a PCR test to confirm you are negative for Covid-19 before attending any of the weekend events. We will not be requiring guests to wear masks, though you may do so if you wish. All staff at Kunde will be masked, and all weekend events will be held outdoors.
Shuttles are available to transport guests to Kunde Winery and up to the hilltop for the ceremony. Guests are not allowed to drive up the hill, so shuttles will be available all night to take guests up (from the car park) and down if needed. The three shuttles will also drop-off guests after the reception at Bonnie Way for the afterparty. There is a car park at Kunde Family Winery, and guests are welcome to drive themselves to the event and await shuttle arrival (approx. 3:40pm) to be transported up the hill. There are two shuttle pick-up options departing at 3:15pm (sharp!). One shuttle will pick up at the Sonoma Valley Inn: (550 2nd St W, Sonoma, CA 95476) where we have a room block. Guests located in Sonoma are also welcome to utilise this option, but please contact me or Macklin in advance so we can ensure there are enough seats! Two shuttles will pick up guests from the Behmke house at 201 Bonnie Way, Glen Ellen, CA 95442. Masks are required to be worn when on shuttles.
There will be taxis available from 11:30pm until the end of the evening to take guests home (to any local residence in Kenwood, Glen Ellen, or Sonoma) from the afterparty at Bonnie Way for a fee of $20 per ride. Ride fee should be left in cash at Bonnie before leaving the party. We encourage any guests drinking to utilise this option! Uber/Lyft etc. are not generally available in this location.
