FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than April 19th

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start right at 10:00 AM, so please arrive with enough time to park, find a seat, and get settled

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We ask that guests wear semi-formal attire. More details are available on the schedule page for those of you who love to overthink outfit planning.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

The number of guests included in your invitation is noted on your RSVP form and reflects the seats and meals we’ve planned for. In most cases, we’ve listed everyone we expect to be in your party, but if you’re thinking of swapping things up (ditching the husband for a kiddo or bringing your bestie instead), just RSVP for the number of guests you plan to bring (ignoring the mismatched names) and let us know who they are in the notes section of the rsvp form. That way, we can update our seating chart accordingly.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have our own kids there, so it would be pretty hypocritical of us to say no. That said, when deciding whether to bring your little tagalongs, please keep in mind that there is a pond on the property and other events may be happening nearby. Young kids will need a bit more supervision than they might at home. Also our venue gives us an additional meal option for children so please let us know if you're bringing a kid so we can get you the details on that!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We will be staying at the Omni Interlocken and have hotel block link below, which you can use for preferential rates. The room block will close by May 15th so if you're interested in staying at Omni Interlocken we recommend booking before then. It’s about 20 minutes from the wedding venue, and there are definitely closer hotel options available if that’s your preference. https://bookings.omnihotels.com/event/denver-interlocken/pylate-wedding-room-block

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We will be registered through our Zola website (We just haven't had time to post it yet), though having our favorite people with us as we celebrate is what we’re most excited about. (We know it sounds cheesy but we really mean it)

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know about any food allergies so we can inform the venue and make accommodations! There is a question on the RSVP form about this but feel free to contact us to make extra sure we know.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is oodles of parking! It is a gravel lot so consider leaving the Maserati at home

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately, our budget doesn’t allow for a guest shuttle. However, since this is a college town, there should be no shortage of Ubers or Lyfts available if you need one.

Question

I recieved an invitation but I'm having trouble with the RSVP form/am unable to find my name

Answer

If you received an invitation you are invited to the ceremony and reception! The RSVP form was a little weird to set up (but vastly superior to all the other options, trust me) and some of you are listed under nicknames that you use instead of your full name. If you've tried your nickname and still can't find yourself or your group please reach out to us so we can get things sorted out!

Question

How do we contact you if we have other questions/need to share futher details with you?

Answer

You can email us at mackenziepylate@gmail.com, please include the word "wedding" in your subject line to make your email easier to find.

Question

Why are my adult children(+ their families) listed under my name in the RSVP?

Answer

Unfortunately, zola doesn’t allow us to group more than two adults together in one party, so to keep families all in one place, we listed adult children (even those with their own households!) under their parents’ name.

Question

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony and the cocktail hour that follows it will be outside and the reception will be inside.
