Parking
The Casco Bay Ferry Garage is almost always full! There are a couple of other lots and garages nearby but be sure to leave time for parking and a little walk back to the ferry terminal. Take a peek at the map. Lots at DiMillo's, Fisherman's Wharf, and Thames Street, along with the Custom House Garage, are all good options. If you are staying in a hotel downtown, they will have parking.

Casco Bay Ferry to Diamond Cove
This is a public ferry line that goes to several of the islands in Casco Bay. The terminal can be very busy in the summer months and will require you to be there early. You can purchase your ticket ahead of time, but that does not guarantee your spot on a specific ferry time. All boats are first come first serve. Did we say be there early? $14 per person (round trip). The summer schedule is officially released in June and we will update this website then. Be sure to get off at the DIAMOND COVE stop.

Fogg’s Water Taxi
This is a more direct option. It allows you to skip the busy ferry terminal, but you will need to book ahead and find parking well in advance. All fares are a one-way flat rate for up to six people. $150/ 6 people - each way (You could take this out to the island and then catch the last ferry back.) All taxis are reservation-based. They may accept same-day reservations, which can be made by phone. (207) 415- 8493 **We suggest calling ahead.**
