How do we get to the venue?

Answer

We’ll be providing a shuttle from the Hyatt Place Bloomington to the venue, which is about 30 minutes away—so you can skip the stress of driving and directions. If you’d rather drive, the address is 6483 Kent Rd, Bloomington, IN 47401. Just a heads-up: people tend to drive a little fast and loose on the country roads out there. UBER PSA: You can usually get an Uber to the venue, but getting one back is a whole different story. They rarely pick up that far out of town—so don’t depend on it! If you end up having a little too much fun (which we fully support), hop on the shuttle or ride back with a friend. You’re welcome to leave your car overnight at the venue, but it must be picked up by 10:00am the next morning.

Are kids invited?

We adore your little ones, but our wedding ceremony and reception will be an adults-only celebration. Children are more than welcome to join us at the Friday Welcome Party and the Sunday Brunch.

We love to dress up, and we hope you’ll join us! Our vibe is Botanical Garden Party Glam—think stylish, playful, floral, and fabulous. If it makes you feel incredible, it’s perfect.

Why Bloomington, IN ?

Answer

Bloomington was an easy choice for us! It’s where Dakota grew up, and Josh isn’t far from home either—he grew up in Auburn, IN, just north of Fort Wayne. We’re excited to celebrate with you in a place that represents our Indiana roots and houses so many of our memories.
