Who knew that church would bring two crazy kids together. Our story started years ago, at Fisher's Of Men. One was the popular, cute kid, & one was the nerd with glasses. Can you guess who was who? 😂😂 Like all good love stories of today, ours started on online. Facebook to be exact. On December 26, 2020 MacKenzie was scrolling online, & came across a Facebook post that Shermon had posted. There was an exchange of comments under his post & that was that. MacKenzie went on about her way, & a few hours later she received a notification that she had a DM from Shermon. The post read to be exact, "I like the way you think". YUUPP!! He slid into her DM's. He then commented that he appreciated her POV, & asked her when she was from. She thanked him, & replied that she was originally born in California but was raised in the SWAT & attended Fisher's of Men. He then replied that he went there too. PLOT TWIST, he didn't even remember that they attended the same church. WHEW!! Talk about being memorable, SIKE!! At that point she sent a picture of her mom & brothers to him, then all of a sudden he remembered who she was. So either she had really glowed up, or his memory was really bad. I'll take glowed up for $200 ALEX! After a few DM's, they exchanged numbers, he gave her his "alternate number", & they began texting & conversing daily. After conversing for a few days, he asked her out the day before New Years. Operation first date, location: BJ's Brewhouse. When she arrived she saw him from a distance & thought, "He's still as cute as he was when we went to church together". Can we say Smitten. The conversation lasted for hours. The connection was certainly there. When it was time to go, they both wanted to stay & chat for a little bit longer, but it was the holidays & Shermon had to get back to his family. From there on out they talked daily, & the rest is history. On Mother's Day 2021 Shermon proposed, & now the two are joining together to become one. #MarryingTheMillers
