It is also the town closest to kthe wedding venue and where it would be most convenient to stay. It is 20 minutes from the venue, 25 minutes from Barcelona Airport, and 35 minutes from downtown Barcelona. Explore the old town - Sitges' historic center is full of charming streets, squares, and buildings, including the iconic church of Sant Bartomeu i Santa Tecla. Spend some time at the beach - Sitges has several beautiful beaches including one just in front of the ME Hotel. While topless sunbathing is common, Platja de Sant Sebastia specifically is nudist friendly. Visit the Cau Ferrat Museum - this museum is dedicated to the life and work of artist and Sitges resident Santiago Rusiñol, and features a collection of his paintings, sculptures, and other artworks. Wine tasting - 30 min by car is the wine region of Penedes which is also the birthplace of Cava. There are several wineries there with tastings that can be booked in advance most starting at 25 euros.
