Black Tie. We're respectfully requesting guests join us in helping create such a special, sophisticated atmosphere!
Respectfully, no. We absolutely love kids but the only children in attendance are those in the wedding. It's a tiny-human-free-event so we hope for you, it'll be a night well spent!
Yes! For those not from Memphis or familiar with the area, you can actually see Memphis Country Club (MCC) from the church--it's literally across the street. While you cannot access MCC from the church, the MCC entrance is a whopping (1) minute drive! There is substantial parking at the church and along the street (Greer St.) and ample parking available at MCC. When you arrive at the the MCC entrance, you'll simply share you're with the Daniel/Gillespie wedding!
For those not from Memphis or unfamiliar with MCC, just follow the red carpeted staircase under the porte-cochère!
Cocktail Hour will feature a variety of appetizers followed by a traditional Memphis Country Club reception: an elegant evening-long flow of phenomenal food, drinks and dancing. For those not from Memphis, think of it as a formal, extended cocktail gala featuring a curated collection of chef-attended culinary presentations. Each dish is tastefully prepared and plated to individual preferences by an MCC staff member, ensuring a refined dining experience that will not leave you hungry! *Note: A variety of late-night snacks will be served as well...tuxedos and gowns are a sophisticated sight, but nothing beats fries or sliders before you go night night. ;) In lieu of a seated dinner, this flow allows us to maximize our time together and you to eat, drink and dance at your own pace. While there is no formal assigned seating, please know there will be a coat check upon arrival, beautiful powder rooms to refresh, ample luxurious seating to rest and areas to enjoy your food. From the first pour to last call, we hope you laugh, mingle and have a ball!
