We're Getting Married! (Finally)

If you know us, you probably know this story. It's a story that started with a concert, a bold prediction spoken into existence and a Facebook Message - and somehow turned into twelve years of adventures, figuring out life side by side. It began back in summer of 2011 when Mackenzie and her friends went to see Keem perform at the Dane County Fair as part of Kyle and Keem. In true Mackenzie fashion (dramatic and loud), she told her friends "He's Fineeee-I'm going to date him one day." - Then immediately passed out and missed the entire show. To this day Keem swears he remembers seeing a girl in the crowd pass out, not knowing that in a few short years, she'd be the love of his life. About 2 and a half years later, during Mackenzie's senior year finals, she received a Facebook message from Keem after he saw one of her senior pictures. He simply said, "Hey Beautiful" and just like that, it all began. We started dating in September of 2013 and have been on a roller coaster adventure ever since. Over the last 12 years, we have grown so much - both as individuals and together. We survived the ups and downs of college and long distance. We packed up and lived in 5 different states to see the country, meet new people and push ourselves outside of our comfort zones all in hopes of finding our perfect city to settle down (which we are still trying to figure out). Somewhere along the way, we added our two fur babies who keep life extra fun, a little chaotic, and always covered in dog hair. On December 21st, 2024, in the city where we first met, during Mackenzie's favorite holiday season, Keem popped the question - making the Christmas holiday that much more magical. Through it all, we've learned that our favorite place is anywhere we're together- and now we can't wait to celebrate this next chapter with all of you, the people who know us best.
