Why Are You Getting Married In Joshua Tree National Park?

Answer

We love hiking and spending our time in national parks and Joshua Tree just happens to be one of our favorites! Joshua Tree has so much history and sacred roots it feels revitalizing! Along with its roots, it is truly breathtaking and surreal!

Isn't California Super Expensive?!

Answer

Yes, California is expensive. However, Joshua Tree is one of the least visited and most underrated national parks. Along with that, the city of 29 Palms is a small, less traveled city making travel accommodations more affordable than both Chicago or Miami!

Why A Destination Wedding?

Answer

Well, my family and friends are mainly from the Midwest while Gheiman's are mostly located in Miami. No matter where we would get married would require most people to travel so why not do it in place we really want to?

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

Yes! It is in the middle of the desert, it's a small town, there are not many public transportation options. Most people on our guest list know each other and it would be smart to communicate with others to rent a car together. Feel free to reach out to me or Gheiman if you would like help reaching out to others on the guest list whom you may know!

Do I have to attend the whole weekend?

Answer

No! Come for one day or come for all! We understand that traveling is asking a lot of our guests so whatever works best for you, works best for us! Just let us know if you will be attending the reception (10/18) which is what requires an actual guest count.

Why is your wedding spread out over multiple days?

Answer

We want to be able to enjoy each part of it with the people we love without feeling rushed.

Will you be mad if I can't attend?

Answer

No. But please let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
