Travel Note
The easiest way to use public transportation is to activate one of your credit cards on Apple Pay on your phone, or if it has contactless payment you can use the card itself. All trams and metros have a "tap to pay" at the entrance where you can place the phone/card quickly to pay for entry. If you prefer to by a metro card, there are day passes or single/multiple trip packages that you can purchase with card or cash inside all metro stations. Once you have purchased this, you can use the card for each trip you take on the tram or metro.
Travel Note
Uber works here in Brussels! There just may not be as many cars available, so it is a tad slower. But feel free to use it to and from the airport. For Taxi's, you can find them sometimes in the city center to flag down.
