The center of Brussels! An absolute must see :)
If you are looking for authentic Belgian dishes, this is the place to go for dinner! They don't take reservations but typically we get in quickly if we show up close to when it opens. Cash only!
One of the oldest bars in Brussels, down a hidden alley in the city center. Also one of the only places to try the famous Westvletern beer!
Old market turned into a great bar with popup museum displays and shops!
The BEST seafood market to grab mussels and a bottle of wine and sit out in the sun (when it decides to show) on the St Catherine square!
Cool indoor and outdoor space with free boardgames you can pick up and play while you grab a drink.
Great food hall that will have a little something for everyone! Tons of different restaurants have little booths inside.
Delirium is a globally known Belgian beer maker, and you can try all of their beers and more in this cool alley way in the city center where they have their bars!
Fries and waffles are the 2 main food groups here. Try these - Maison Antoine - Frites a bit outside of the city center, but in Mack's neighborhood. So good! http://www.maisonantoine.be - Maison Dandoy - for waffles! https://maisondandoy.com
We enjoy taking the train to either Bruges, Antwerp, or Ghent. We highly recomend the audio tour - The Castle of the Count in Ghent. https://visit.gent.be/en/see-do/castle-counts
Here are our favorite places to go when we are in town! Bonvivant - neighborhood bistro with amazing seasonal French food! https://www.bonvivant.paris Le Souffle - the name speaks for itself. Located right by the Louvre! https://www.lesouffle.fr Cafe de Flore - the best brunch. No reservations, but the line out front moves pretty quickly! https://cafedeflore.fr Le Relais de Venise - Delicious steak and French fries! https://relaisdevenise.com
