Please plan to arrive by 4pm. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm and there is only one entrance from the restaurant and down the aisle. Awkward traffic issues between the wedding party and guests may occur if guests are not seated in time for the start of the ceremony. Please arrive early, grab a drink if you’d like, and sign our guest book. By arriving at this time, you will be helping our day to flow as smoothly as possible. Thank you!
We are requesting formal attire. This bride LOVES an excuse to dress up and asks you to have fun and do the same! If you have a fancy outfit in the back of your closet that you’ve been wanting an excuse to wear, now is the time. We suggest bright or bold colors, long dresses below the knee, dressy jumpsuits, jackets and ties. Please no tuxedos, though - the groom and groomsmen will be in suits. Feel free to explore fun colors, patterns, and bold accessories. White, off-white, ivory, cream and similar shades are traditionally reserved for the bride. The ceremony seating is on grass by a lake, so please keep that in mind for footwear. There is a paved walkway. The cocktail hour will also take place outdoors on a paved patio and the reception will be indoors. We don't want anyone to be stressed about the attire. If you have a former bridesmaid, Mother of the Bride, prom dress or a longer homecoming dress, dust it off! The website Azazie has a lot of great options in a range of prices as do places like Ross and Macy's. You can even borrow from a friend or visit a thrift store! We won't turn you away if it's closer to cocktail attire - we just want you to have fun with it! You can find some ideas of outfits on this Pinterest board: https://pin.it/5gcqSd7HK
Due to the size restrictions of our venue, we need to prioritize the experience of our family and closest friends. We both have large families, and the venue has a maximum capacity that we must adhere to. That being said, “+1”s have been limited to spouses in nearly all cases. Please refer to the RSVP page where all members of your party will be listed together.
From cocktail hour through the end of the reception, will be complimentary beer, wine, soda and seltzers. Liquor is available for purchase. The restaurant bar will be open before the ceremony and after the reception formally ends at 10pm.
The restaurant’s outdoor “tiki bar” remains open until 1am (weather-permitting), and the indoor bar area may also have live music. The indoor bar will likely remain open later into the evening if guests want to continue the celebration!
Yes. The restaurant is the only venue for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and they have a large parking lot.
Please RSVP as soon as you know your availability. We recommend responding right away so that you don’t forget. You can RSVP directly on this website!
No, we won’t have a shuttle. The ceremony and reception take place in the same venue. From the venue to the hotel is less than a five minute drive and the hotel itself does not shuttle. We encourage Uber and carpooling!
