Mackenzie & Drew met in Fall of 2019 at Mesa Community College. The two shared a communications class and quickly became friends. During their winter break, Mackenzie reached out and asked Drew if he would like to hangout and get lunch at Cafe Rio. Drew was out of town visiting family in Alaska and Mackenzie would be leaving soon to spend New Years in Utah. While the two awaited their future hangout, Mackenzie cut her hair and did a photoshoot with her cousin. Mackenzie sent a few of these photos to Drew and he has had the same photo as his lock screen ever since. As soon as the two were both back in Arizona, they got lunch and went to the mall. Unknowingly to Mackenzie, Drew thought she was in a relationship. Once that miscommunication was cleared up, the two began hanging out nearly everyday for the next month. Drew eventually took Mackenzie on their first official date to Culinary Dropout where Drew initially drove to the wrong location and Mackenzie had her first taste of gelato. On February 21st, 2020, the two made it official during a hike at Butcher Jones. Since then, the two have spent the past six years side by side and they simply cannot wait to spend the remainder of forever together.
