Mackenzie earned her BSN from King University and plans to continue her education by becoming a CRNA. She is a country girl who loves her animals and her sweet tea, and she is beautiful inside and out.

Reed and I have known each other since preschool. When Reed started going to PRCMS, we quickly bonded over shooting hornets at our fellow classmates in sixth grade English. No matter how far or how long we are apart, we always pick up where we left off and I can count on him for anything. He is an aspiring golf pro, a devout UFC fan, and a former fantasy football champion. Reed works as an instrumentation technician at Chemours, is married to Holly Tarter, and together they have a beautiful newborn daughter named Blair.

Anela and I have been friends for going on 13 years. After moving from Hawaii to Wartburg, I was one of the first people she connected with and we have been inseparable ever since. Logan was the friend I never knew I needed to help get me through grad school. We quickly bonded over golf, fishing, working on bikes, boats, and everything in-between. He has a PhD in mechanical engineering from MSU where he currently works as a research engineer. Logan is married to a good friend of mine, Brenna Betts, and they have a chocolate lab named Maggie who I consider my Goddog.

From playing softball together, selling slushies and lemonade at Hillside Café, to now standing beside each other on our wedding days, she has filled my life with joy for as long as I can remember. Tori is the Head Coach of Wartburg Middle School Softball team. She is married to Jake Davis and they have a rotten little girl named Blakely.

We pursued the same degree at MSU (he was 3 years ahead of me) and eventually became roommates when I stayed for grad school. He currently lives at the finest residence in Starkville, manages PACCAR engines, and is a boyfriend to Brooke Schafhirt. Bobby is the funniest person in the room, and he can make something as simple as going to the grocery store or a round of golf one of the best memories of your life.

Caleb and I became buddies during my freshman year of HS and were founding members of the fishing team. He has a doctorate from LMU and practices veterinary medicine on the animals of Bogalusa, LA. We spent several years apart while earning our respective degrees, but stayed in touch and reconnected when I moved to TN. He is the most enjoyable person to share a boat with and is deadly with a ned rig or a dip net in his hand. Caleb is married to Kimberly Hebert. They have a newborn son named James along with a pup named Dolly.

I am blessed to call him a colleague, friend, and brother.

He has been married to my mom for 35 years.
