In November 2024, Brad went to my friend's father's home to pick up fishing lures. While there, he was introduced to my close friends, Tori, and her husband, Jake. During their conversation, they asked if he was single. He responded, "Yes, but if you have any good looking single friends, let me know!" A week or so later, Tori messaged Brad that she did have someone that she wanted him to meet. He agreed. She then sent me a message about a potential date. She described Brad as a very kind Christian man who is looking for a woman that won't get mad at him when he goes fishing. Next thing I knew, we had a double date set. We enjoyed a fun dinner at Outback and swung by Walmart after we finished eating. While waiting for Tori and Jake after finishing our own shopping, Brad commented that he was not looking for anything at the moment. Despite this, he wanted to stay in touch. Two weeks later, we were officially together. Little did he know from that first double date, we would be engaged by the next December and excitedly planning our wedding.
