Shuttle

Shuttle between Mountain Edge Resort / Sunapee Lake Lodge and The Fells

We will be running transportation before and after the event between the Mountain Edge Resort / Sunapee Lake Lodge and The Fells. For arrival at the venue, we may assign shuttle times to guests to ensure everyone arrives on time. After the reception, all are welcome to use the shuttle to get to the Mountain Edge for the after party or for an early bedtime. After the after party, the shuttle will make one stop at the Edgewood Inn and the Sunapee Harbor Cottages for guests staying there.

Upper Valley Rideshare Service

There is essentially no coverage for rideshare apps in the Sunapee area, so all transportation outside of the provided shuttles should be pre-arranged. If you are not staying at one of the hotels reached by the shuttle service and you want to set up a ride to or from your lodging, please text the provided phone number several days in advance with your pickup location, drop off location, time of pickup, and size of your party. The rides CANNOT be called or scheduled the night of the wedding.

Edgewood Inn

Room Block: Call for reservations and reference "Garrity-Zales Wedding" Transportation will not be provided from this hotel to the venue before the wedding. Please schedule a ride through one of the options available on this page or plan to drive to the venue and leave your car at the venue overnight. Guests staying at the Edgewood Inn will be able to use the transportation provided to travel from the venue to the after party. A shuttle will take guests from the after party to the Edgewood Inn at the end of the after party. Please email us with any questions.

Sunapee Harbor Cottages & Lodge

Room Block: Call for reservations and reference "Garrity-Zales Wedding" The Cottages are located in the middle of Sunapee Harbor and across the street from the Saturday Lake Sunapee tour boat. Transportation will not be provided from the cottages to the venue prior to the wedding. Please schedule a ride through one of the options available on this page or plan to drive to the venue and leave your car at the venue overnight. Guests staying at the Sunapee Harbor Cottages will be able to use the transportation provided to travel from the venue to the after party. A shuttle will take guests from the after party to the Cottages at the end of the after party.

There are several Airbnb, VRBO (Vacation Rental By Owner), and other online house rental options in the area. They are popular during the summer months, so we recommend booking these options early. You will need to arrange your own transportation to and from the venue.

Driving from New York or Boston

The best way to reach the Sunapee area is by car and it is easily accessible via I-91 from New York (approx. 4 hours) and I-89 from Boston (approx. 2 hours). Both Google Maps and Waze have accurate directions to any destination in the Sunapee area.

Rental Car

Airport Rental Cars

If you want a car for the wedding weekend, all major car rental companies are available at the airport in Boston. Some car rentals are also available at the Manchester, NH and Lebanon, NH airports. The Manchester airport usually has the best prices.

Dartmouth Coach from Boston

The Dartmouth Coach leaves from South Station and Logan International Airport in Boston every couple of hours. The first drop-off location is in New London, NH, which is a 15 minute drive from Sunapee. If you choose to take the Dartmouth Coach, you will need to coordinate with someone to pick you up from the bus station.

The Dartmouth Coach has a route between New York City and Hanover, NH that runs twice a day. The drive from Hanover to Sunapee is about 30 minutes. If you choose to take the Dartmouth Coach, you will need to coordinate with someone to pick you up from the bus station.

Flight

Boston Logan International Airport

If you don't live within driving distance of Sunapee, NH, the best airport for access to the area is Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). The airport is about 1 hour and 40 minutes by car from Sunapee.

Lebanon Municipal Airport

If you want to avoid driving as much as possible, Cape Air offers occasional flights from the White Plains, NY (HPN) and Boston, MA (BOS) airports to Lebanon, NH (LEB), which is about 35 minutes by car from Sunapee.

Manchester-Boston Regional Airport

Another option for flights is into the Manchester Airport (MHT), which is served by most major airlines from a couple of regional locations including New York, DC, Chicago, and Philly. The airport is about 1 hour by car from Sunapee.

Train

Amtrak to Claremont, NH

Amtrak runs an infrequent route from Washington, DC to New York City and from there to Claremont, NH. Amtrak calls this route the "Vermonter." If you choose to take the Amtrak train, you will need to coordinate with someone to pick you up from the train station.
