We are closely monitoring the NH COVID guidelines and will ensure they are followed during the wedding weekend events. The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are outdoors. If there are any changes to the events based on COVID guidelines, we will inform guests via email. Please plan to bring a mask with you to the wedding weekend. As we get closer to the event, we will communicate where and when guests will be expected to wear masks.
The Fells is the summer estate of John Hay. For more information on the history of the estate, please see https://thefells.org/
No - we kindly request no photographs during the ceremony. A photographer will be present to capture every detail of the wedding ceremony. We really want to see your faces, not your devices. There will be plenty of time for pictures during the cocktail hour and reception!
We kindly request arrival at the John Hay Estate at The Fells no later than 4:00 pm. Being coxswains, Mackenzie and Greg expect a prompt start! You are welcome to arrive at the Fells any time throughout the day to explore the beautiful gardens and take a tour of the historic estate.
We will be running shuttles before the ceremony and after the reception between the two primary wedding hotels (Mountain Edge Resort & Spa and Sunapee Lake Lodge). Please see the Travel & Lodging page for more details.
There is limited coverage for rideshare apps in the area. Please see the Travel & Lodging page for alternative options.
While we encourage everyone to find a ride or take advantage of shuttles from the hotels, there are two parking lots at the estate. Priority for the closer parking lot will be given to members of the wedding party and elderly guests. The gatehouse parking lot is approximately 1/4 mile walk from the estate. If you plan to drive, please designate a driver!
