Things To Do

Downtown Charleston

Downtown Charleston

Charleston, SC

You can spend days getting lost in the magical, charming streets of downtown Charleston. Some must see streets include King St, Meeting St, Broad St, Church St, and the Battery! Other downtown recommendations include visiting the Market, seeing the Pineapple Fountain, checking out a rooftop bar, Rainbow Row, and more! If you are here on Friday night, we highly recommend participating in the Art Walk! A large selection of art galleries open up their galleries for free on the first Friday of the month, serving wine for all guests who want to enjoy art! Look up "Charleston Art Walk" for more information.

The Battery

The Battery

Charleston, SC 29401

Take a stroll on The Battery and admire the stunning mansions along the waterfront. You will find yourself under the oaks in White Point Gardens and can continue to get lost in the enchanting historic streets that surround the battery. Fun Fact: You are able to see Fort Sumter from The Battery, which is where the first cannons were shot in the Civil War!

Shem Creek Boardwalk

Shem Creek Boardwalk

Shem Creek Boardwalk, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464

Shem Creek is a beautiful walkway along one of the most iconic creeks in Charleston. Many bars and restaurants line the water. Stop and grab a drink and watch the boats, birds, and dolphins in the creek! We recommend Saltwater Cowboys for the best view!

Sullivan's Island

Sullivan's Island

Sullivan's Island, SC

Sullivan's Island is a beautiful beach town with stunning beach homes, adorable boutique shops and restaurants, and gorgeous sand dunes. We recommend taking a beautiful beach walk along the dunes while admiring Sullivan's Island Lighthouse. This is where we took our beach engagement photos!

Folly Beach

Folly Beach

Folly Beach, SC

Folly Beach is our FAVORITE beach town here in Charleston. We adore the laid back, funky town with surf shops, restaurants, bars, and more! Stop by Chico Feo restaurant for some tacos and their signature drink, the Samarai Slinger. Folly Beach is near and dear to our hearts: where Miles asked Mackensie to be his girlfriend and later asked her to marry him at Morris Island Lighthouse on Folly Island. This is also where Mackensie likes to shark tooth hunt!
