Alex and Lexi went to high school together at Lincoln Way Central. Although they were never close friends, they shared classes together 3 years in a row, including an English class, and the same Science class every year. In Freshman year Biology, Alex and Lexi were paired up as project partners simply because their teacher found it funny that they had such similar names. Alex also recalls that in Sophomore year Chemistry class, he got a new haircut that he wasn't a big fan of, however, Lexi noticed his hair and complimented it unprompted. Alex and Lexi always sat within the same vicinity of the classrooms, and Alex still remembers Lexi being called out for falling asleep in class by their Junior year Physics teacher. Years passed, and even though the two had been Facebook friends since high school, in Spring of 2021, the two rekindled their friendship after Alex decided to message Lexi. They immediately noticed how much they had in common, including favorite movies, childhood memories, and tastes in music. The connection was instant, and they have been inseparable since then. In July of 2024, they purchased their first home together with their cat, Cosmo. In September of 2024, they got engaged at the same place they had their first date and one of their favorite adventure spots, Pilcher Park in New Lenox. They love attending the concerts of their favorite bands, trying new foods together, and finding laughter and joy in even the most mundane activities. Planning their dream wedding together has been a blessing for them, and they are so excited for the big day.
