If you are planning on bringing them to Italy with you, that's wonderful! We can provide information and recommendations for babysitters for the weekend, enjoy the time off!

During the month of May in Pelago, we are most likely to experience good weather with pleasant average temperatures. Please check out more on weather here: https://www.accuweather.com/en/it/pelago/1548049/weather-forecast/1548049#google_vignette
Ristonchi Castle is a rustic, 1,000 year old medieval castle surrounded by olive groves and a forest of chestnut trees and wild edibles. It's not a regular hotel, so there won't be daily cleanings, but all of the basics will be provided for you such as clean sheets, towels, pillows, blankets, toilet paper, soap and shampoo. The furnishings are typical Tuscan style, and some of the bathrooms are small and quirky, but that's the fun of staying in an old castle. When you wake up you know you’re in Tuscany! There is heating, but no air conditioning. The thick stone walls and fresh mountain breeze should keep you comfortable, or there is a fresh spring water pool that will definitely do the trick! We will set up an ironing station for anyone needing to iron their clothes during their stay. There are no laundry facilities onsite. There is a bar and small shop where you can buy coffee, drinks, ice cream and snacks. The castle is secluded so please bring everything special (like medication) you'll need for the weekend with you.
The cost is $400 total per person. How to pay: You can pay for the accommodations directly via the following PayPal link. Please select "Friends & Family" option. Alternatively, if you do not have PayPal, please reach out to Carrie Birkhofer (Sarah's mom) directly for Zelle or Venmo information (831) 332-0219. www.paypal.me/carriebirkhofer Payment is due by February 1, 2025.
Our wedding venue is a 1000 year old castle in the heart of Tuscany, Italy, an hour outside of Florence! Please see their website here for more information: https://www.ristonchi.com/
Yes! You will have the option to include this information in your RSVP, and we will make sure to accommodate any allergies or restrictions. If you have any other questions, please reach out to Sarah directly.
All guests are invited to spend the entire weekend with us! Please find the entire weekend's schedule of events in the "Schedule" section of our website. We are not organizing any other group travel plans outside of the wedding, but we hope that you can take advantage of being in Italy, and extend your trip to this beautiful country as long as possible!
