FAQs

Question

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Answer

Our wedding is Semi-Formal or Dressy Casual. This attire strikes a balance between formal and casual. It is less dressy than formal attire but more polished than casual wear. We would love to see our family and friends get all dressed up for our big day! What does this mean? For Men: Suit or blazer optional; nice shirt; tie optional; dress pants/khaki pants. For Women: a nice dress, a skirt/pants, and a top. We kindly ask that guests refrain from jeans, white dresses, and provocative clothing.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The bride and groom ask that guests be seated no later than 15 minutes before their 1:30 pm ceremony time. This gives everyone enough time to be on schedule.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

The bride and groom ask that you please turn off your phone or put it on "do not disturb" and let their amazing photographers take the lead. However, they encourage you to take pictures and videos during the cocktail hour, reception, and dance through a QR code found on tables and around the venue.

Question

What does the parking situations look like?

Answer

Riverview Lutheran (Ceremony): Please use the school and church parking lot (the one closest to the building) first, then, for overflow, the shared hospital lot can be used. Gibson Social Club: The lot connected right next to the building is available for rented events at the Gibson. There are roughly 40-45 parking spots. The Gibson will provide parking passes as guests enter the building, which need to be displayed clearly on the dashboard of any car parked in the lot during events. Please save the spots closest to the venue for those who may need them. Cars can be parked overnight, but need to be removed by 9:00 am the following morning. There are additional public lots and street parking available in downtown Oshkosh.
