If you really want to splurge on a meal you won't forget. This is our friend Seth's place, and it received a Michelin Star within a year of opening. They cook entirely over live fire, and reservations are required. We had dinner here after getting engaged!

Cafe by day, dinner spot by night. We love coming here on Saturday mornings to read with coffee and pastries (their cinnamon rolls!), or early on a weeknight for a fun shared-plates dinner (don't miss the garlicky pretzel focaccia).
Crosstown Trail
Our first date! This 17-mile hike takes you all the way across San Francisco. You can do the whole thing in a day (as we've now done twice), or just do one section!
