What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love for our guests to get dressed up for our big day with us! Our dress code is Black-Tie optional. So, what does Black-Tie optional look like to us? We are asking that the gentlemen wear dark colored suits, no tuxedo's necessary. For the ladies we are asking you to wear midi formal dresses, no evening gowns necessary.

Where should I stay?

Answer

We are offering a hotel block at the Hilton Garden Inn in Temecula, CA. While our wedding venue is technically located in Fallbrook, CA we are recommending that our guests stay just north in the town of Temecula. Temecula has far more to offer than Fallbrook, including a range of different accommodations including AirBnB's if that is preferred.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

You have several options to pick from in Southern California based on where we are traveling to. Please factor in rush hour traffic when deciding on your arrival/departure time. We suggest playing around with different times inside of Apple Maps when making your decision. The three closest airports are as followed: 1) San Diego International Airport (SAN) - 60 miles to Old Town Temecula 2) Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) - 68 miles to Old Town Temecula 3) Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) - 92 miles to Old Town Temecula

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

While it is not absolutely necessary, we would encourage you to rent a car if possible. Not only are all of the airports at least one hour away, the beautiful wineries that we hope you will want to explore are "out of town" and will require you to drive at least 15+ minutes to them.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure our celebration is intimate we ask that only the guests listed on the formal invitation are invited to attend. Thank you for your understanding!

Will transportation be provided on the wedding day?

Answer

Transportation will be provided for all guests interested! We are offering two pick up locations, one from the Hilton Garden Inn for our hotel guests and one from The Vine House for our wine country guests. Once the reception has concluded, all busses will depart from Monserate Winery and stop first at Blackbird for those attending the afterparty, then stop at the Hilton Garden Inn to drop guests off. The hotel is less than a mile from Blackbird. For those guests staying in wine country, there will be transportation provided back to The Vine House departing Blackbird at 12:00am.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in Southern California is gorgeous at the end of October! You can expect the days to be warm, between 70-80 degrees, with cooler evenings around 50-60 degrees.

Is there a dress code for the Welcome Party?

Answer

We are asking that our guests dress in "smart casual", think skirts or dresses for women and khakis and a polo / button down for men!
