Freshmen year soccer camp. I remember it like it was yesterday. Adam, at the ripe age of 14, had a mohawk the size of a Japanese fan and the voice of a chipmunk. Little did either of us know that those would be the most formative years of our friendship. We spent the next 13 years of our friendship driving around Missouri backroads, shaving each other’s heads, arguing about where the local library is, drinking two sips of each of our first beer together, and the list goes on. I also had the joy of living with both Adam and Machaela and we had just as many crazy adventures squeezed into one short year. Adam has given me more than I could ask for in a friend and I’m truly honored to stand by him for him and Machaela’s grand soiree.

Unfortunately, Mach and I were born several continents apart so we only met when we were assigned to each other as roommates in college. One night, late Fall of our first year, we were sitting on Mach’s bed, slightly inebriated. We both started to tilt in the same direction at the same time and decided this meant that we were sisters. 10 years later the logic escapes me but I’m so glad we’ve remained sisters. We are separated by continents again but what’s a little distance when you’re family?

Hi, I’m Caitlyn! Machaela is my first cousin who I’ve known my whole life. Machaela would hands down be my go-to karaoke partner, I can’t even begin to count the times we’ve spent singing goofy songs and trying to find all the harmonies. My favorite memory with Machaela is the time we spent together in Ireland in 2017 for a family wedding, and I’m beyond excited to be a part of her wedding, too!

I honestly don’t remember the first time Adam and I met. It was one of those things were we had mutual friends from different sports and we all started hanging out together. I think the reason I can’t remember the first time we met is because when we hung out, it just felt like we had already been friends for years. I’m so glad he found a great girl like Machaela to spend the rest of his life with. Scorpios rule.

Hey, I am Maggie. Machaela is my first and second cousin, related on both sides of the family weird but not incest I promise you. Some of my favorite memories with Machaela are when we got some good quality time when I would go and watch her play sims when I was over hanging out with the other cousins! May have been an annoying younger cousin but she put up with me anyway and appreciate her very much for that! I love her so and I am sooo excited for her wedding, and even more excited to be apart of it!!

I met Machaela shortly before high school, while we were playing for a local soccer league. It was clear shortly into freshman year, we would become very close friends. Throughout 14+ years of escapades, laughter has clearly been the key ingredient in this friendship. Whether it be listening to music on repeat to an absurd extent, getting rained out each beach venture at the exact moment of arrival, or staying up all night contemplating the answers to existential questions nobody had asked us for, Machaela and I are always having a great time.

For one reason or another, I get to pretend to be a Wiggin every so often. Sometimes it's for just a week or so, and sometimes it's for like three months. So I'd like to think I know a little bit about Machaela at this point. And I think this Adam guy's gonna work out. It was actually kinda weird meeting him for the first time. Almost like catching up with someone you haven't seen for a while. I've spent a lot of time with Adam since then and that great first impression's held up. Adam's as genuine as they come. I won't spare you the cliche—Machaela and Adam fit together like two pieces of a puzzle. He's a Wiggin for sure.

Hello, My name is Molly! I am incredibly lucky to have been friends with Machaela since our first days of high school. We have grown from teenagers giggling at our inside jokes in the lunchroom to college students giggling at our inside jokes at *ahem* of age *ahem* parties (oh heavens...no party at the Wiggin’s. No, sir, not once) and now, adults….still giggling at our inside jokes while driving across the country together. Every memory with Machaela is one I cherish, especially when she introduced me to Adam. I am elated to be a part of their special day and can’t wait to celebrate the most wonderful person I know.
