"My name is Mckenzie! My boyfriend, Evan, knew Jake from Naval ROTC at NC State and introduced me to Jakey boy at a tailgate. Rach and I were both in marketing classes together and bonded every once in a while over our military girlfriend lives (lol) and then finally got extra close through a church small group. Evan is now in Naval Aviation School in Pensacola, FL and I'm working as a Business Development Coordinator in Raleigh, NC. Safe to say both Jake and Rach are my best friends and I seriously couldn't love them more than I do!!"

“Hi I’m Logan. Jake and I met while we were working at foothills auto spa shortly after graduating high school. Jake and I didn’t know it at first but we’d end up being each other’s closest friend by the time our tenure at the auto spa was done. I am now working for the sheriff’s office as a detention officer and have hopes to further my career in law enforcement.”

“Hi, I’m Bubbles and I am practically legally blind. Just kidding, my real name is Cory. I met Jake roughly a year and a half ago. Jake came to the fleet only a few weeks after me. We got put in the same truck together and like that he became like a brother to me. He’s a slightly older, more mature brother, but we don’t have to talk about that lol. We’ve been through terribly cold, soaking wet, and scorching hot days and laughed together through each and every one of them. I am currently a machine gunner in the United States Marine Corps. I one day plan to be an independent commercial architect/builder. Fun fact I can light a fire with my glasses.”

First time I ever really talk to him was when I hitchhiked a ride with him to the Charlotte airport, he still never thanked me for getting him off work early. Jake and I are still in the same platoon together. When Jake isn’t at home during the workday he is usually in my room.”
