Jake and Rachel met in 2017 in our hometown of Wilkesboro, NC. Interestingly, they met after Jake was in a car accident and Rachel had seen the end results which prompted her to reach out to him to see if he was okay and to see what all had happened. After confirming all was well, they continued to talk every day and their relationship flourished from there. They bonded over dates at the lake, hiking, enoing, quick lunch in between classes, and lots of dinner and movie nights!

Jake had planned an amazing night, he incorporated all of Rachel's favorite things. He recreated one of their first and favorite dates of stargazing but instead of goldfish, he had charcuterie snacks and champagne. It was the perfect setting; they went to Jakes family land on top of the Brushy Mountain so the stars were shining bright. He had packed blankets, pillows, and even candles to make the night cozy. The proposal was definitely memorable and extremely sweet, it was perfect!

Jake and Rachel made the decision to go with their closest family to their hometown courthouse to get married in a small intimate gathering. It was filled with love, family, and laughter! The official wedding anniversary is 03.13.2020.

We are very excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family. We can't wait to spend time with everyone and make this day memorable and filled with laughter, delicious food, spirits, music, and some great dancing!!
