Matron of Honor
Madeline & Macey have been friends since they were 5 years old. They attended the same schools together grades K-12. During this time they shared memories in mock trial, marching band, dance, & school plays. They have been on several big trips together including Europe twice and a 2-week road trip from Iowa to California. In 2023, Macey had the honor of being Madeline's Maid of Honor in her wedding.
Kyle Mindick

Kyle & Zach met at Marian University when they were part of the cycling team and became roommates. Their mutual interests in fitness, health, and the outdoors allowed them to grow their friendship despite living long distance after college. In 2024, Macey and Zach were able to visit Kyle, and his dog Finn, in Oregon where they hiked and had great outdoor adventures! Kyle has also made several visits to MKE to see Macey & Zach!
Leyla Salomón Saba

Leyla & Macey met at Drake University where they became friends and eventually roommates in Des Moines. One of Macey's favorite memories with Leyla was when she able to finally visit Leyla in Chile in 2022! Later in 2022, they both moved to Milwaukee where they were able to share many adventures and navigate living in a new city together. During this time, Leyla and Zach also became friends!
Alexander Nehr

Alex is the brother of the groom! Alex spent 4 years in South Korea & Japan while serving in the Marines. Since Alex's return at the end of 2023, Zach & Macey have been fortunate to regularly spend time with him. Currently, Macey, Zach, and Alex enjoy attending Milwaukee Bucks games together, playing with Roo, and spending time with their family!
Claire Schafer

Macey & Claire met at Drake University during their sophomore year and eventually became roommates. They shared tons of fun memories during their undergraduate years and though Claire moved to Europe after graduating, they were able to cheer each other on while they were both studying in grad school!
Zachary Heller

Zach Heller is how Macey and Zach met! Macey & Zach Heller met freshman year at Drake University. They became great friends and were roommates their last 2 years of college! Zach & Zach met in elementary school and have spent the last two decades sharing their love of sports, playing FIFA, and were roommates during the pandemic! Nowadays, Macey, Zach, and Zach spend lots of time together in Milwaukee!

Marisa & Macey met at Drake University through mutual friends! They love exploring together, playing with each other's cats, and bopping to music! Macey and Marisa love visiting each other's cities and have a blast embarking on new adventures!

Sam & Zach have been friends since they were in high school. They have a shared love of soccer, bikes, and taste in music. Macey and Sam met during college and grew closer over the years. The three of them love their lake adventures and meet-ups in Milwaukee when Sam visits his hometown.

Macey & Jackie met at Drake University through mutual friends and had the privilege of being roommates during the height of the pandemic. They had countless fun nights at their home watching movies, dancing, cooking homemade meals, making Tik-Toks, and of course, playing with Macey's cats- Roo & Gus Gus.

Tim & Macey have been best friends since high school! They played trumpet together in marching band, sang together in show choir, madrigal choir, & jazz choir, and have been on several epic camping and hiking trips to Colorado! Tim met Zach in 2022 and immediately hit it off and became friends!

Sabrina & Macey met at Drake University's Arabic Club! They quickly realized they had a lot of shared interests including their passion for public health, learning about different cultures, and of course- cats! They love exploring museums together and and sending each other countless cat pictures.

Logan is the brother of the bride! Zach is so happy to have spent time with Logan these past 3 years and is excited for the years to come. Macey is thankful that she has a brother who shares 99% of the same interests as she does- especially when it comes to music and art.

Razan & Macey met during graduate school at Drake University in 2019 and became friends instantly! They were in Arabic Club together, studied countless hours to earn their MPAs, made delicious Middle Eastern food, & loved taking walks around their neighborhood.

Zach and Hayden met at a local bike race back in 2019. Since then, they have raced together in person and virtually. They enjoy riding around Wisconsin together and talking about bikes nonstop!

Eli & Macey met in Drake University Chamber Choir. They spent time exploring England together during International Choir Tour and became close friends! They have a shared passion for music, nature, art, and animals- and they eventually became roommates (with Runal, then Jackie and Leyla!)

Runal & Macey met in Drake Choir in 2017 and eventually spent time as roommates (with Eli!). In 2024, they were part of the Drake University Choir Reunion concert where they performed together in Des Moines!
