Abby is the person who can make you laugh until you cry. Who you can be unapologetically yourself with. She is at every MacArthur party, or get together. She’s often called the 4th sister! She has put Michaela and Nathaniel first in every step of the wedding process. She is the bestest friend one could ever have.

Vinnie has been a longtime friend of Nathaniel’s, with their bond beginning in Boy Scouts—fitting, given the loyalty and integrity Vinnie has shown as a friend over the years. They spent countless summers at camp, growing up side by side and creating memories that have lasted a lifetime. Vinnie has always been a steady source of support for Nathaniel, and it’s only right that he stands with us on our wedding day.

Alex and Nathaniel have been friends since kindergarten, forming a bond that felt more like brotherhood than friendship. They spent nearly every day together, sharing countless laughs, inside jokes, and unforgettable moments. Their connection has stood the test of time, and Nathaniel is incredibly grateful to have Alex by his side during such a meaningful chapter of his life. Their friendship is one that has lasted through the years—and one that will continue for many more to come.

Makenzie is such a light and fun person to be around. Michaela and her met at camp oasis, their home away from home. They spent many years meeting up every year at camp and always had their beds close to each other! She has been that constant friend who you can always come back to no matter how much time has passed!

Since the early days of Michaela and Nathaniel’s relationship, Darren has been a bright and welcoming presence in Nathaniel’s life. His humor and warmth made it easy for them to connect right away. Nathaniel has loved learning about woodworking and all things construction from Darren, and he’s very excited to officially call him his brother-in-law very soon.

Michaela’s friend from down south! Met through sharing the same struggles with chronic illness and have been friends ever since. She is a wonderful support, a good time, and has the biggest heart.

Brendan and Nathaniel first met in high school and later reconnected after college through a shared internship in the very school system where Nathaniel now works. Their friendship quickly rekindled, built on a shared sense of humor and a mutual love for the same kind of music. They’ve been laughing ever since. Nathaniel is truly grateful to have Brendan as a witness to such an important moment in his life.
